Today started out clear and COLD. The weather threw us another curve before we head north. It has been in the 80's but now we are going to have two days of 30's in the morning. We know that everyone will be happy that the highs will still reach the mid 70's.
Diane defrosted the fridge today in preparation for moving on after 3 months in the park. The next few days will be spent rearranging the basement and trying to figure out where all this stuff was when we left St. Louis. No matter how hard we try to not add things we always seem to have more than we started with.
This afternoon was golf with the boys. There were eight guys playing at Lake Diamond. $2 nassau and $ .25 skins. Joe, Mark, Donnie( from the band) and Bob were the big winners. Our team won $2 and 3 skins. No big amount of money but the bragging rights last for a year. We hope to return and play the same game next March.
Tonight we finally attended Karaoke Night. Joe and Marilyn have been trying to get us to go for a while and today we gave in. There was a large turn out and it seems that there a number of folks in the park that are truly talented. As usual there are people who just enjoy singing regardless of ability and we applaud their nerve. We just aren't public singers unless there is a large amount of alcohol or Dave and Deb Fluegge involved.
This is one of the last scheduled events in the park for the winter. We are going to miss the fun evenings with our old and new friends.
