Continuing Fun in Florida

Much of the same the past two weeks:  pickleball, Mark golfing, and eating, eating, eating, along with happy hour after happy hour.  So much for the weight loss program this winter.

We had dinner with two other couples that we had met 10 years ago in our winter out.

Dinner with Maurice and Linda and Phyllis and Mac

One evening Lawrence and Diane wanted to introduce everyone to Thai food, so we all pitched in $20 a couple and they ordered the food and served it.  Some of it we liked; some not so much.

Waiting to eat the Thai food.

Next happy hour was for Superbowl.  We didn't watch the game, but enjoyed the pregame party at Rick and Ann's.

Some guy was drinking this.  Cool bottle.

Fraser and Cathy are renting a golf cart this winter.  Butch loves riding in it.

Pizza happy hour down by the river one evening.

Our infamous "folding church bulletin" happy hour.  It's a Saturday tradition now.

We are all decked out in our Kentucky Derby hats for the Ladies Luncheon.

One day last week we went canoeing with a large group of the kayakers to see the manatees.  We rented a canoe.

A gigantic manatee right next to our canoe.

This is the path through the mangroves to get in and out.

We all packed a lunch for after the ride.

Not a happy hour, but a light dinner out with the gang at Culvers before the ice cream social in the park.

The Dukes played at the ice cream social.  Great music and dancing.
Mark won a CD at the rock n roll party Saturday night.

We celebrated LeRoy and Ann's birthdays at the dinner after Sunday's golf tournament.
