Hot Hot Hot

Last night was yet another restless night, only for a different reason this time. We played games with the air conditioner - should we turn it on, or keep it off. On, off, aaaaaaaaaahhhhhh. At 2:00am Mark turned it on even though all the windows were still open. He thought I was freezing, so ten minutes later he turned it off. Then it was too hot to sleep. At 7:00a I finally crawled out, begging for coffee. We turned on the A/C and it ran all day long.

Today we made a SweetBay run (closest grocery store) and a stop at Steve's World Famous Nuts joint (fruit and veggie stand). Mark picked out another gigantic 2 lb. grapefruit, along with grapes, strawberries, apples, and peppers. We are definitely spoiled and will miss all the local fruit once we get back home.

The afternoon was spent lounging in the pool for a couple of hours and then watching the golf on TV. When Pam and Dennis were finished with their dinner, they came over and we all sat outside at Gary and Anne's until it got too cold - yes, we were under blankets.
