It's amazing how late we now sleep in the morning since being in Florida. After waking around 8:30am EST, our morning coffee/email reading was interrupted by a soft knock on the door. It was Gary wanting to know if we were going golfing - it was supposed to be in the upper 70s today. We rushed through breakfast/showers/dressing to get ready to tee them up. Gary and Anne drove us to Gainesville to the course we first tried on Tuesday. The college student working at the course recognized us for what we are - seniors, and gave us the appropriate discount. Sometimes it pays to look old.
We did find lots of interesting sights on the course:

Hot golfers and beautiful palm trees.
And a great scene in a pond on the course:
It's some kind of crane, with a snake in its mouth!

And a somewhat unsturdy lightning shelter. It kinda looks like an outside theatre/church.
After a very late lunch/early dinner we came back to the trailer, sat outside telling lies and drinking until 9pm, blog, and then bed!

What a life - Dennis and I may have to take up golfing yet!
That is the best wildlife picture so far! That is so cool. One less snake for you to have to worry about!
