Fleas

Our day's activities began with a trip to the greatly advertised (with VERY LARGE billboards) "flea market." Never having experienced this phenomenon in MO, we set off with another couple to find "treasures." Even though advertised as Friday, Saturday, Sunday, only one booth was open. We'll have to catch the fun on another day soon.
As you can tell below, not just the humans require coats down here.

This part of Florida is horse country. There is a large farm right next to the RV park. We walked along the road today to see if the horses would come visit us (we didn't even have to call them or bribe them with food - they just wanted to visit). Our friend from Antonio, MO would love it here! While thinking of her, we snapped a few pictures. She would've laughed big time at us. We jumped every time the horse blew out it's nose.

Yep - he's on the phone with a buddy from back home (Mark S).

Thank to everyone who has left us comments. We love reading them! My dearest niece - we've noted your comment and will keep it in mind for future posts.

Oh I love the horses! They are so cute! Flea markets are awesome. I hope you soon have the chance to vist it when it open.

Cool! From Antonia, MO. I went to a Clinton Anderson Horsemanship Clinic Friday Saturday and Sunday, 1-4, 5, & 6. Awesome. If you run across Bill Horn and his wife - they have a Reining Horse Training Facility in Ocala somewhere. He is one of the old professionals. He will probably be 3 sheets to the wind anytime of the day or night that you see him.
