6.78 Miles

Yep, that's how much I walked today on the 18-hole golf course we played. Over 14,000 steps. By the 17th hole I was fading fast. Not having walked a course in over a year, it was tough. And it was a flat course!! Mark was a little rusty on the front, but shot 3 over on the back for an 85! He loves this course - we're returning on Thursday.

Another beautiful day in central Florida. Hope everyone back home survived the storms/tornados.

It's a short message tonight - too many glasses of wine and bottles of beer after golf. Darn - we missed the karaoke! Maybe next week.

Sorry Steph, but this is what Uncle Mark & Aunt Diane do - we golf! I looked for alligators on the course but couldn't find any. We'll search for more wildlife for you.

It's ok. How cool would that be if you saw an alligator!?!

What seems to have been a tornado rolled up the tin roof with the rafters on the old milking parlor adjunct to barn where I board (my grandfather's old dairy farm). Also uprooted some huge trees and took all of the shingles off of many roofs just about 1 mile south and SE of us. It sounds like a tornado here too. Glad to hear you guys are having a great time.
