Laying Low

After golf on Monday and Tuesday, today was a day to hang around the RV park. It was a cloudy, cool (70) day, so the pool was out of the question - possibly tomorrow after golf. Joe and Marilyn have been in Tampa and Orlando since Monday; Gary and Anne went to the movies, so we walked and talked to fellow lay-lowers today.

After purchasing my new digital camera last night, I took it everywhere today. You just never know what you find in RV parks:

like cheesy whirlygigs in the yard (not ours!)

or our new favorite kind of dog across the way. It never barks, pees, craps, bites, or moves.

Lots of palm trees (ours).

And of course - the big guy washing his truck.

The most bizarre thing we saw today was a couple in their own golf cart. About 30% of the people here have their own carts, or they rent them for $150/month. What makes this one strange is that the cart had spinners on the wheels. I couldn't move fast enough to get a picture. Hopefully I'll see it again soon.

What kind of camera did you buy?
