34 and Counting

Today we celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary. Our friends Joe & Marilyn hosted a cook-out for a few of us.

We had to bring out every one's favorite yard game. There were lots of people looking our way - we're pretty sure we have the only long ago outlawed game in the park!

Unfortunately a few sprinkles fell. Those awnings just aren't big enough for a big group to stay out of the rain. Fortunately it only lasted a couple of minutes, but we're wimps - none of us wanted to get wet, so we huddled together. All we were missing was a campfire.

We were reminiscing about the weather on this day, 34 short years ago - we much prefer this. No snow, ice, etc.
