Clubroom prep seems to be the same no matter where we go. Sweep the floor, set up tables and get the chairs out of the store room. While we getting all this stuff done Diane thought it would be a good idea to clean the refrigerator since it hadn't been used in several months. She was having a problem taking out a glass shelf to clean the underside. I suggested that she remove the whole shelf assembly to make it easier to clean. Unfortunately as soon as she got it out it slipped in her hands and the glass shelf was turned into about 10,000 small pieces! This made cleaning the rest of the shelf much easier, and allows much easier access to the vegetable bins in the bottom!
The rest of the morning was spent burning trash (Diane) and painting spot numbers on power pedestals (Mark). Patty went to town for supplies for Saturday's big marshmallow roast and hayride. As soon as she left people started to arrive. Remember the ease of the computer software? Not really true. We finally took the couple to their spot and asked them to come back later to pay. The next customer wanted propane but we didn't get around to that training just yet, please come back later. The third customer just pulled in the rear entrance since he had been here before. He was the easiest one of all, we just kind of ignored him.
The last thing to do today was to install the hand rail to get into the pool. It seems unnecessary but when we went to put the rail in the two campers that had come in earlier jumped in the pool. It really has been a warm spring!
Nothing so simple as running an RV park for a couple of hours to make you realize all that Telco training just wasn't worth much in the real world!!!
Now for the pictures:
