It's Saturday afternoon, and we're still battling the bird crap on the back of the trailer. Today its windy so a lot more is ending up on our humble abode. What's good is that the wind is also blowing the brown berries out of the tree and onto the ground, plus the tree is starting to leaf out so hopefully those birds will be gone soon.
Mark went with the men for Saturday breakfast. The choice today was El Vaquera the place that has a wonderful lunch buffet. They must put so much effort into the lunch buffet that there's none left for breakfast. Hard to believe that a resturaunt could be so good for one meal but so bad for another!
While he was gone I noticed the black tank valve was open. For those of you with rv'ing experience you know this is a bad idea. When Mark got back he spent an hour at least filling and flushing the tank. Hopefully no piled up surprise hiding in there!
Thursday we played bunko again in the park. I was slightly better this time, Mark had a much worse score. That's the last bunko game until next season. There's a lot of turnover in the park right now. People are starting to head north, or just changing locations before going home. More and more empty spots, or one-nighters floating in and out. We had this extremely nice couple next to us for a few days. There were at least 80 years old. We can only hope to be that active when we're they're age. The old guy wore ironed jeans, and starched blue chambray shirts every single day. Their rig was also almost a half mil.
Friday I golfed with Mark and the guys. I was cold most of the day. The sun never did come out, and I believe it only got to about 65, plus it was windy. It was a slow round since there were five of us, but a good time was had by all.
Mark finally got the price on the replacement part for the Reese hitch. $100! The guy ordered it, and it should arrive late next week. Since we're not leaving for a while, it's ok.
We just finished up with the popcorn - now I must start thinking about dinner before we play canasta at 6:45. Last night the women redeemed themselves after being trounced the night before.
