Ouch! We have to get him a hard hat for working around the trailer. This was one of the worst yet.
This morning we packed up and started our trek down to Biloxi, MS. We stopped along the way at the "Dizzy Dean Rest Area" off US49. They had this huge mural on the wall of him in his St. Louis Cardinals jersey.

The Cajun RV Park is right across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. Our trailer is the Cedar Creek; the Gulf is in the background.

After checking out one of the local golf courses and Walmart, we walked across the street to test the waters. The water was not what we expected. One would think that the beaches on the Gulf are all the same, but they are not. The water was very warm; very dirty; and very brown. The beach was nice and clean.

Luckily there's a pool here in the park that we'll try out tomorrow after golfing (unless the meteorologists get it right this time).
Since we hadn't eaten all day, we headed to the Hard Rock Casino for buffet and penny slots. Our plan was to win enough to pay for tomorrow's golf. A good idea; not good results. After 3 hours in two different casinos, we got back to the trailer with $1 less than when we left! It's like winning.
