After 11 hours on the road on Wednesday, and 8 hours yesterday, we arrived at our final winter destination of Grand Lake RV and Golf Resort in Orange Lake, FL. We spent Wednesday night near my sister, Pam's house, so she and Dennis picked us up and we got to visit for several hours over dinner. Saying goodbye wasn't so hard to do, because they will be joining us for a while this winter in their new 5th wheel!
We had one minor electrical problem once we had set up - seems the Ground Fault Interrupter had gone bad. This meant no electric in the kitchen; no where to plug in the coffee pot (YIKES), no where to plug in the outside decorations. A trip to the local Home Depot this morning solved the problem. We finally got the DirecTV satellite set up today. Funny how we forget how to do that all the time. Sometimes it goes smoothly; today it did not!
This park is fabulous. Lots of activities going on, plus the 9-hole golf course on site. Yes, Mark was out there today.

Of course Stephanie beat me to a comment but I think if she hadn't and I didn't have her comment to click on I wouldn't have known how to comment at all. Di I'm so proud of you knowing how to blog! We are counting the days until we can join you for a week! Maybe you will have to take us to see the local band on the Sunday night we are there.
